Registration for the 2012/2013 Preschool year will begin February 20th at 9:00 am
ONLINE for new students.

Returning students or siblings may register January 30, 2012 - February 12, 2012 in person. Please call the Centre office

Tiggy Winkle Preschool Registration for school year September 2011 to June 2012 is now over and all classes are now FULL. If you wish to add your child to our waiting list for September 2011, please call the community centre office at 604-257-6976.  Wait lists are kept for the current school year only and are not carried over to the next year.

Tiggy Winkle Preschool at the Kitsilano Community Centre in Vancouver BC,  is a modern preschool designed to provide children ages 3 to 4 years with valuable learning experiences in a happy environment. The program is designed to improve a child’s social, emotional, intellectual, creative, and physical development as well as help develop positive self-esteem.

Daily activities include opening circle, free play, story time, art, music and songs, creative movements, outdoor play, snack and quiet reading time. Each month of our program is based on a different learning theme and many of the daily learning activities are related to that theme. The teacher to pupil ratio is 2 teachers to a maximum of 20 children per class. Both staff are certified Early Childhood Education teachers, with current first aid and they keep current with various workshops throughout the school year.
