Room Rentals

Kitsilano Community Centre has several rooms available to rent for Meetings, Birthday Parties, Casual Use or Special Events.  Set up and clean up is the responsibility of the rental group and time for this should be included in the booking time.  Staff supervision (minimum call out is 2 hours) is required for bookings requested after regular hours, weeknights after 11:00pm and Saturdays after 5:00pm. A damage deposit may be required upon booking. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the Community Centre.

Board Room:

The Board Room 121 is approximately 300 square feet with maximum capacity of 18 people. The room has a TV/VCR unit, white board, projection screen, tables and chairs and is ideal for small group meetings. ~ Price is $15.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Lobby Room:

The Lobby Room is approximately 900 square feet with a maximum capacity of 60 people and is ideal for parties or larger gatherings. It has a lovely view over Connaught Park to the east of the centre. The room has a service counter with sink and coffee maker, six round tables and 25 chairs, and a ping pong table. ~ Price is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour. Rentals on Saturday nights will also be required to hire at least one staff as the centre is officially closed after 5:00pm. The staff cost is $25.00 per hour for a minimum of 4 hours. Meeting Room:

The Meeting Room 115 is approximately 215 square feet with a maximum capacity of 15 and can be used for small group meetings. The room has tables and chairs with a whiteboard ~ Price is $15.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Multipurpose Room:

The Multipurpose Room 013 is approximately 700 square feet with maximum capacity of 40 people and it is perfect for children's parties or group meetings. The room comes complete with kitchen, TV & VCR, projection screen, tables and chairs and folding mats. ~ Price is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Snowy's Lounge: 

Snowy's Lounge is approximately 1500 square feet (25' x 60') with a maximum capacity of 100 and can be used for larger parties or meetings, memorials or other events. The room features a serving counter with a fridge, microwave and sink, tables and chairs and aerobic mats. Ken's Kitchen, which is located in the lounge is not available to rent, unless you also hire the services of our Community Chef Mark Halyk. If you are interested in our catering services, you can contact us at catering@kitscc.com. Please note that kitchen staff may be on duty at any time of day or night. It is still possible to rent the lounge while they are working, as long as you don't mind the lovely aroma of baking  right next door!  ~  The price is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour. Gymnasium:

  

Kitsilano Community Centre has a full size gymnasium with bleacher seating for basketball, volleyball, badminton, indoor soccer, floor hockey and more. Our facility can be rented out for sports or birthday parties, when available. Availability is quite limited due to the number of sports programs run by the centre.
