This class will work on achieving optimal alignment by strengthening the muscles of the core (the muscles that run the entire length of the torso both front and back. The goal of this class is to achieve stability, flexibility, strength and postural integrity. The class includes both standing and mat work with an emphasis on the correct execution of the exercises and effective breathing. Participants should have no serious injuries and be of average or better physical fitness. Exercises will progress but numerous modifications will be given allowing students to work and improve at their own level. Flex bands and half rollers will be included. Drop-in $12. No class Apr. 5th.
